5 EASY STEPS TO GO FROM CONSUMER TO CREATOR
Becoming a content creator can 10x your income.
But most people find it hard to shift from consumer to creator.

1. Consume great content
“Garbage in, garbage out”, you know the saying.
In order to produce great content, you first need to consume it.
- books
- podcasts
- newsletters
What are the topics you want to write about? Make a list of the best creators in those niches.
2. Write everything down
Once you have a list of creators and you consume their content, have an “idea bank” to store what resonates.
- Notion database
- Paper notebook
- Apple notes
Write down everything in it:
- ideas from creators
- your own thoughts
- famous quotes
3. Analyze the ideas
If you want to start creating you need to go one step further.
Schedule time to go through your “idea bank”.
One by one:
- what are your own thoughts on the idea?
- how did it affect you personally?
- does it connect to other ideas?
4. Make it your own
Once you looked at the idea from different perspectives, it’s no longer the same.
- distill it
- transform it
- find another meaning
You now have a new “Big Idea” that might be a different one, a better one, or even a “Genius idea”.
5. Share your content
Now that you made it your own you want to make sure you won’t keep your “Genius Idea” to yourself.
It could become:
- a Linkedin post
- a YouTube video
- a Podcast episode
Maybe even a book or an online course.
Get out there, spread it to the world.
